Cool as a Carpenter!

Jason “Chippy” Carpenter is quickly cementing himself as the club’s top player as he vies for the “Major Club Championship” clean sweep, tomorrow morning in the Club Fours Final.

Chippy has already won the Club A Grade singles and Club A Grade Pairs before Saturday morning Fours Final. Chippy will be alongside his teammates Michael Bermingham (lead), Sean Baker (Third) and Jade Groenewege (Skip) as they take on the formidable team of Nathan Earle (Lead), Mitchell Cameron (Second), Jamie Nordlof (Third) and Scott McLachlan (Skip), in what should be a cracker final. Chippy and his team are trying to defend their Fours title from last year, but the win in the Fours will, more importantly, give Chippy the Major Club Championships clean sweep.

Jason has been a Magpie Member for the last 2 years and has been a major part in the clubs building, he is an active club member whilst also having a full time job and somewhat recently being married, congratulations to Jason on his achievements so far and we wish him all the best, not only in tomorrow’s final, but all the Champion of Champion events that are to follow!

Be sure to come and watch the final tomorrow (Saturday 22nd June) at 9am, with the Pennant Trial on at 1.00pm.

GO THE MAGPIES!
